On the Food Network!

Happy 2009 Everyone!

I’ve had so much fun hearing from all of you who have seen me on the Food Network promos that are up and running! I’ll be appearing on:

(There’s been some confusion because the commercial advertises the beginning of the 6-episode series, which will begin with the “Comfort food competition” this Sunday, January 4th. So don’t fret if you watch this Sunday and don’t see me — I’m not supposed to be in it.)

I’ll be watching the episode for the first time with everyone else — I haven’t even gotten a sneak preview! Keep your fingers crossed that I don’t say anything too goofy or make anymore silly faces, both of which are highly probable. I can’t wait to hear what you all think.

Maybe we can start a petition to get me on the food network as a regular ;)

Love you all!

just watched the burger show on Food Network. Thought you were awesome and should have won. Good luck in your future endeavors.
P.S. If you have the opportunity a little restaurant in Warsaw Ky,Jewell’s on Main is well worth the visit. The chef owner puts out some fantastic meals at a reasonable price. It may give you some ideas for the future.

Congrats on the great showing on the URS competition. For what this viewer’s opinions are worth, you definitely had the most appealing pair of burgers of the group — I was especially intrigued by the beer cheese one.

On a different note, if this had been Next Food Network Star rather than URS, I think you would have been the winner by a mile. You do a great job on camera — your personality sparkles and you seem a lot more alive and comfortable than most people.

Best of luck with the career!

    Hi Brigitte!

Congrats on a great showing on URS last night. As a native of Louisville and a UK grad, I rooted for you to win. The food looked great I’d really like to have that Beer Cheese Burger recipe.

Also, I admire the fact that you switched careers. I’m currently a non-barred lawyer here in DC preparing to take the KY Bar (I hope to score well enough to waive into DC- please pray for me). I’ll always love the law, but I’m also developing a passion for the culinary arts. I’d love to here your thoughts on how I can integrate the two. Hope to hear from you soon. Take Care.

I just saw you on Ultimate Recipe Showdown, and wanted to say… you kicked butt! Your recipes look GREAT! (And you certainly have a fabulous smile!)
    :-)

I’m up in Cincinnati, so maybe I can get down that way and sample your cooking sometime!
