I just got back from a busy but fun-filled trip to New York. (Couldn’t get enough of riding on planes after Beijing, I guess!)
Lucky for me, I wasn’t alone this time. Michael came along, and my sister Christine flew out from Texas to spend a few days with us. One of my best friends, Annette, took the bus from DC to spend a quick day with me too. Yay!
Highlights from the trip:
- Visiting the Food Network studios (it’s like my mother ship) in Chelsea Market
- Eating the most amazing steak at “Les Halles” - Anthony Bourdain’s (one of my favorite authors and food show hosts) French restaurant - and getting waited on by the famous Tim
- Eating greasy pizza and pasta at the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy
- Staying in the Times Square Marriott with the most AMAZING view (Thank you, Marriott points)
- Seeing “Legally Blonde” on Broadway (I’m a fan of the MTV reality show)
- Introducing my sister to Pinkberry (She is now officially addicted)
This was my first time visiting the Big Apple, but it certainly won’t be my last!
